LEATHERFACE (2017): New Trailer For The Texas Chainsaw Massacre Prequel, Starring Lili Taylor, Stephen Dorff, Nicole Andrews…

Leatherface (2017)

Directed by Alexandre Bustillo and Julien Maury, Leatherface is a prequel to the  The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, a 1974 horror movie about a chainsaw wielding psycho killer. Starring Lili Taylor, Stephen Dorff and Nicole Andrews, this new film introduces us to teenage Leatherface who escapes from a mental hospital with three other inmates, kidnaps a young nurse and takes her on a road trip from hell…

I’m curious about this one because I remember watching The Texas Chainsaw Massacre movie and not hating it. If my memory serves me well, the film stood out more for the humour rather than any moments that may have terrified me. Nevertheless, I’ll of course take the necessary preventative measures against nightmares; I’ll watch Leatherface in broad daylight… like the proud wuss that I am.

Leatherface Release Dates: October 20th, 2017 (US)…

Happy Film Loving

  1. Pause! You found humor in the original The Texas Chainsaw massacre? That movie creeps me out and I love horror films. It does tend to stand alone for some qualities of its creation, but I don’t recall ever laughing at it. Are you sure you’re got the right movie? 😉

    1. I had to watch the film as part of my Media Studies course when I was 17. I’m pretty sure I don’t think I noticed the humour at first. But then my teacher pointed out the humorous moments in the dialogue, especially when Leatherface and family are around the dinner table. Maybe watch it again and see. I’m not saying that your sides will split from laughter but there is humour in there. 😊

      1. I’ll have to rewatch it this Halloween. Isn’t there a scene with a guy in a wheelchair… something funny coming to mind… Yeah, I’ll have to rewatch it
