The latest trailer for Respect, a Liesl Tommy directed Aretha Franklin biography starring Jennifer Hudson, Marlon Wayans and Forest Whitaker has finally arrived.
Besides the music and Hudson’s acting talents, I’m most looking forward to watching Franklin coming into her power.
Also, hopefully the way her most iconic song ‘Respect’ came to to be is captured in a way that’s as moving as what Rocketman (2019) did for my favourite Elton John single,’Your Song’
