Christopher Nolan’s latest film stars Cillian Murphy, Rami Malek, Emily Blunt, Matt Damon and Florence Pugh.
Biography/historical drama Oppenheimer is the story of American scientist J. Robert Oppenheimer. Specifically the part he played in the development of the atomic bomb.
My all-time favourite movie trailer happens to be for a Christopher Nolan Film. As such, it’s unsurprising that the long-awaited full trailer for his latest work also has me excited to the point I was moved to yelp joyfully as it played.
All my joyful yelping and excitement aside, brilliant and certainly chilling are two words that seem fitting regarding the energy and dialogue present in this trailer. And since Murphy is an actor who always delivers in his performances; if the transformation in his eyes is anything to go by, I can hardly wait to be moved in all the ways I’m bound to be.
Of course, there’s also the stunning cinematography courtesy of Hoyte van Hoytema, who most recently worked on Nope (2022), Tenet (2020) and, Dunkirk (2017).
Robert Downey Jr., Gary Oldman, James Remar, Casey Affleck, Jack Quaid, David Krumholtz, Benny Safdie, Michael Angarano, Josh Hartnett and Kenneth Branagh also star
Oppenheimer Release Dates: July 21st, 2023 (US & UK)…
Happy Film Loving

I’m so excited for this. It’s a true cinematic event for sure.
Exactly that! I’m also extra excited because the last Nolan film was only released just two-three years ago. It may be the pandemic distorting my grip on how much time has passed but I’m sure there are usually more years in between Nolan films than that. Still, I’m happy and ready to take in this very promising-looking film.
It does feel like this next CN film has come around quite quickly. Something worth celebrating, me thinks. 🤩 🥳
Absolutely! 🤩 🥳🤩 🥳🤩 🥳🤩 🥳
Saw this trailer in front of Avatar. Looks awesome, and I’ll be counting down the time until it opens. Have loved just about everything Nolan has done, and I suspect he’ll make this an outstanding watch.
Precisely tomorrow, it will be exactly 7 months until the July 21st release date. The count down has truly began. Interestingly, it’s Ludwig Göransson rather than Nolan’s long-time collaborator Hans Zimmer who’s in charge of the music for Oppenheimer. Once or twice I’ve watched the trailer with my eyes closed, just so I could get a feel for the score. It’s of course beautiful.
Do you believe the decision to go with Ludwig instead of Hans is because Hans chose to work on scoring Dune instead of Tenet?
That is a very interesting question. You may be right about that. Howeever, my mind went straight to scheduling conflict, but one never knows.
I linked to your Inception trailer post. I remember being so excited. Def one of my favorite trailers too✌️
Great, thank you. I re-watch it at least once a year, and definitely when I hear people refer to an idea as a parasite. 🤓
