THE UNION (2024): New Trailer From Halle Berry, Mark Wahlberg, J.K. Simmons, Mike Colter…

Director Julian Farino’s latest action/comedy/thriller has Mark Wahlberg as a down-to-earth construction worker. One who’s thrust into the world of super spies, thanks to his high school ex, Roxanne (Halle Berry).

This is clearly not one to be taken as seriously as one might a Daniel Craig Bond film. But it should be fun, even more so, for me because it’s partly set in my beloved London, England.

Will you be watching these upcoming fun/silly shenanigans?

Alice Lee, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Lucy Cork, Jessica De Gouw, Jackie Earle Haley, Patch Darragh, Juan Carlos Hernández and Stephen Campbell Moore also star.

The Union Release Dates: August 16th, 2024 (US & UK)…

Happy Film Loving,

G

  1. I had no idea until I saw the trailer when it came out that part of it was filmed on location in a Slovene coastal town Piran where I spent all my summers for the first 25 years of my life (my family still has a summer house there since my great-grandfather bought it after Italians moved away when they lost WW2). When I did some research I found out an interesting fact that Piran actually plays itself in the story, not just another fictional location in a made-up country.

    1. I love that! It’s always extra special when a movie is filmed in one’s home town. I imagine it’s even more special when it’s a lesser-known location. It may be time for you to revisit Piran. It does look beautiful.
