Created by Matthew Hodgson and Ryan Murphy (All’s Fair 2024- ), The Beauty is a new drama/sci-fi series starring Ashton Kutcher, Bella Hadid, Evan Peters and Anthony Ramos.
It follows an investigation into a drug referred to as the Beauty STD, a drug that results in aesthetic effects while also being lethal.
Two words. The Substance (2024). A few more words, considering how things went with All’s Fair, my expectations aren’t high. But curious, I remain. Even more so because of the humour, how fun Kutcher and Rossellini’s roles look.
I will cautiously try to watch this. How about you? What do you think of this trailer?

This looks good. Oh, the irony that Ashton and Demi Moore used to be married to each other. Not sure if you ever saw Nip/Tuck, but this trailer has a similar vibe to it.

I saw this trailer a few times before saying to myself…hey, isn’t that Ashton Kutcher? And then…I thought of how he had been married to Demi Moore. And then…I thought of how she starred in The Substance. And then…I thought of how much this show looks like it is playing off of that movie. I gotta admit, the trailer looks bonkers in a good way. That being said, I’m on the fence as to whether to watch or not.
That’s a lot of thoughts, indeed! 😁 And all very understandable. Kutcher seems to have not acted for a while. Seeing him was a surprise for most, if not all of us. I’ll certainly give this a chance, largely out of curiosity.
