Our Planet promises to show us some of the world’s most precious natural habitats – starting with the glorious visuals in the trailer below.

As I watched the above I thought: ‘It’s not David Attenborough though.’ But then the end of the trailer happened and I was more than relieved.

Bring on all the knowledge and superior footage. I’m ready!

Based on the novel by Shirley Jackson, The Haunting Of Hill House is a new Netflix series about five siblings who grew up in Americas most famous haunted house.

Created by Mike Flanagan; key cast includes Carla Gugino, Michiel Huisman, McKenna Grace and Timothy Hutton.

I’d call this ‘nice and creepy’ for fans of scary movies. I’m not the biggest scary movie fan, but I do appreciate this story’s rather compelling premise and how well-made this trailer is.

I’m quite sure that I won’t have time for this new show, but I’m sharing this trailer anyway because it’s a 9-minute teaser that gets more and more interesting, leading to at least one truly ‘wow’ moment.

Created by Jeff Rake and Matthew Fernandez, Manifest is a new NBC drama/mystery series starring J.R. Ramirez, Josh Dallas, Jack Messina and Melissa Roxburgh, to name just a few.

Following a turbulent, but routine flight, the passengers and crew of flight MA828 discover that the world has changed in a most unexpected way, and soon a deeper mystery begins to unfold.

Now, wasn’t that compelling?

Parveen Kaur, Luna Blaise, Alfredo Narciso and Julienne Hanzelka Kim also star.

Directed by Pattie Jenkins (Wonder Woman (2017); and based on true events, I Am The Night is a drama / mystery that stars Chris Pine, India Eisley, Golden Brooks, Jefferson Mays, Dylan Smith… 

This one isn’t a movie but a six part TV mini-series  I just had to feature it because it looks pretty good and if I’m completely honest, I really find the sound  and music in this trailer to be quite magnificent. I like it so much I’d actually appreciate a three minute long version to listen to more than 3 times.

If I had to guess, I’d say that that spine tingling instrument that comes in near the beginning and definitely at the very end is a xylophone.

Jay Paulson, Shoniqua Shandai, Quintyne Lawrence, Justin Cornwell, Alexander Kanellakos and Hayley Marie Norman also star.

Robert De Niro, Michelle Pfeiffer, Hank Azaria and Alessandro Nivola are the stars of The Wizard of Lies, an HBO movie about Bernie Madoff and his Ponzi scheme. A scheme specifically known as the largest financial fraud in United States history.

Of course, I’ll be tuning in! De Niro is as watchable as ever, I’m excited to see Michelle Pfeiffer in a film again, and the story is so very intriguing. Even more so because I didn’t really pay close attention to the news when Madoff was all over it back in 2008.

I’m so ready for a good drama like this one.

The Wizard of Lies is directed by Barry Levinson.
