The Morning Show is a new Apple TV series starring Jennifer Aniston, Reese Witherspoon, Steve Carell and Mark Duplass.

Set in the wake of a major scandal at an early morning news channel, The Morning Show follows the unique challenges faced by the men and women we trust to tell the truth, and what happens when they prove themselves to be dishonest.

Aniston and Witherspoon on screen together; that’s a key reason I’m looking forward to this one. I’m a fan of Carell, Mark Duplass and Gugu Mbatha-Raw too, of course.

I was also listening quite closely when Crudup’s character said ‘Watching a beloved woman’s breakdown is timeless American entertainment.’ Now I know that I can’t wait to see how said woman will be fighting back.

The Morning Show brings to mind Gabrielle Union’s Being Mary Jane. I’m curious about the non-obvious ways it’ll be different.

Nestor Carbonell, Karen Pittman, Bel Powley, Victoria Tate, Desean Terry, Shari Belafonte, Katherine Ko and Ian Gomez also star.

HUGE IN FRANCE (2019): New Trailer Starring Gad Elmaleh, Jerry Seinfeld, Matthew Del Negro, Erinn Hayes…

HUGE In France is a new Netflix comedy series created by and starring French comic Gad Elmaleh. Based in part on Elmaleh’s own experience, HUGE In France is about a successful French comic who hopes to make it in the United States.

Additional cast includes Matthew Del Negro, Erinn Hayes, Scott Keiji Takeda and Jerry Seinfeld.

The self-deprecating humour and observations of the differences between France/Europe and the United States are why I’m intrigued.

This should be even more interesting since right this minute I’m struggling to name a single comedian from a non-English speaking country that has had a successful Television series in America.

Scott Keiji Takeda, Jordan Ver Hoeve, Austin Fryberger, Keana Marie, Brittany Ross, Clark Moore and André Tardieu also star.

HUGE In France Release Dates: April 12th, 2019 (US)…

TURN UP CHARLIE (2019): New Trailer From Idris Elba, Piper Perabo, JJ Feild, Frankie Hervey…

Turn Up Charlie (2019), Idris Elba

Idris Elba, Piper Perabo, JJ Feild and Frankie Hervey are the stars of new Netflix comedy series Turn Up Charlie.

Elba plays struggling DJ and eternal bachelor, Charlie. Charlie is given one last chance at success when he reluctantly becomes a manny to his famous best friend’s ‘problem-child’ daughter.

I’m interested because of how different this looks compared to the kind of TV shows I’ve come to expect from Elba. I can’t deny that the sunny summer days shown in this trailer are an additional incentive.

Cameron King, Zak Holland, Daniel Brown, Ivana Basic, Janine Catterall, Nikkita Chadha and Sarah Sharman also star.

Turn Up Charlie Release Dates: March 15th, 2019 (US)…

AFTER LIFE (2019): New Trailer From Ricky Gervais, Kerry Godliman, Tom Basden, Ashley Jensen…

After Life is a new Netflix comedy starring Ricky Gervais, Kerry Godliman, Tom Basden, and Ashley Jensen.

It’s the story of Tony, a widower whose wife’s sudden passing catapults him into a new way of being, saying and doing exactly as he pleases.

I’m a Gervais fan and The Office is good, but my favourite Gervais series is Extras (2005-2007). Derek (2012-2014) is also great, except it made me cry some very big tears, which is contrary to what I expected would happen.

I’m glad that After Life looks very promising and funny. I just hope that it won’t make me cry too much, since staying hydrated can be hard work, you understand.

Paul Kaye, Tony Way, Mandeep Dhillon, Jo Hartley and Diane Morgan also star.

After Life Release Dates: March 8th, 2019 (UK)…

7 DAYS OUT (2018): New trailer for Documentary About Iconic Cultural Events…

7 Days Out (2018), Chanel Haute Couture Fashion Show, SS 2018
7 Days Out (2018), Chanel Haute Couture Fashion Show, SS 2018

7 Days Out is a new documentary series offering a behind the scenes look at some of the most iconic cultural events in the fields of fashion, sports, food, gaming, and space.

Events featured include a Chanel Haute Couture Fashion Show, NASA’s Cassini Mission and the Westminster Dog Show, to name just a three.

I’m most interested in the fashion show episode, then the restaurant opening followed by the space mission.

As someone who doesn’t enjoy organising events, I actually quite enjoy watching other people do it and do it well. I also love food and fashion as art.

7 Days Out Release Dates: December 21st (Netflix)…
