I’m tuning in because its Taraji P. Henson who’s a wonderful actor and always a delight to watch. I’m going to miss her as Cookie once Empire ends. She’s the only reason I keep watching that show now, if I’m honest. This trailer also inspired flashbacks of Angela Bassett in Waiting to Exhale (1995).

Lyriq Bent, Danielle Nicolet and Jazmyn Simon also star.
