Set within the fast-moving internet age; Mainstream is a cautionary tale about three people struggling to preserve their identities as they form an eccentric love triangle.

From director Gia Coppola; Andrew Garfield, Maya Hawke, Nat Wolff and Kalena Yiaueki star.

This is the most intriguing trailer I’ve seen for a movie about today’s social media superstars. Hopefully, it’s a little similar to Popstar – Never Stop Never Stopping (2016), in the best way.

Also, just a few days ago, I was thinking about how long it’s been since I saw Garfield in a new trailer, and here we are. You’re welcome?

This looks different, in a good way, and that’s all the reason I need.

Directed by Andy Serkis; starring Andrew Garfield, Claire Foy, Hugh Bonneville and Diana Rigg, Breathe tells the story of Robin, a handsome, brilliant and adventurous man whose life takes a dramatic turn when polio renders him paralysed.

I’m intrigued by this movie. Only somewhat intrigued because the story seems quite similar to The Theory Of Everything (2014) – a film which still remains fresh in my mind. Also, I’m probably a little more curious about director Andy Serkis’s other upcoming movie Jungle Book, which is due in 2018, and based on the famous Rudyard Kipling story.

Oscar winning director Martin Scorsese’s latest movie doesn’t look like it has a single gangster in sight.

Starring Andrew Garfield and Adam Driver as Jesuit priests in the 17th century, the film follows the pair to Japan where they go on a dangerous journey to find their mentor (Liam Neeson) and spread the word about Christianity.

I’m looking forward to finding out what magic Scorsese can create in what looks like a very different film than what we’re used to expecting from the acclaimed director.

Andrew Garfield is the star of Mel Gibson’s latest film, Hacksaw Ridge.

Garfield plays real-life WWII American Army Medic Desmond T. Doss, a man who joins the army but refuses to kill people.

I don’t know what the word is for how this trailer makes me feel, but I know I’ll have to be in the right mood to sit and watch.

This trailer gives off a kind of Forrest Gump (1994) quality but somehow manages to pull even harder at the heartstrings; all of which makes me think that the end product is going to be, dare I say, overly sappy.

Perhaps I’d be more intrigued had the trailer not revealed so much. All that has been left out of this trailer appears to be the presentation of the Medal of Honour. As continues to be the case, I find myself missing the good trailers of the past that cleverly showed you only enough but never too much.

My favourite Mel Gibson-directed movie will likely always be Apocalypto (2006).

Sam Worthington, Ryan Corr, Luke Bracey, Vince Vaughn and Hugo Weaving also star.
