That unbelievable situation when your 13-year-old son gets arrested for murdering a schoolmate. This is the story of Adolescence; Ashley Walters, Stephen Graham, Owen Cooper and Faye Marsay’s latest crime/drama mini-series.

Undoubtedly, one of the worst nightmares for all parents doing their best to raise a ‘good child’. I’m excited to see the young actor playing Graham’s son do an incredible job. I have no doubt that Walters and Graham will also be be fantastic.

To think that acting found Graham by accident when he accompanied a friend to an audition for a Guy Richie movie. When the friend finished auditioning, Graham was invited to audition. He told them he wasn’t an actor. But, eventually, they convinced him to try. Guess who got offered the part? When Stephen protested because he didn’t want to take a job from his friend, Ritchie’s response was something to the effect of ‘That’s not my problem’. Classic.

Are you curious about this tragic and seemingly well-titled drama?

Co-written by Stephen Graham and Jack Thorne, while Philip Barantini directs; Christine Tremarco, Amelie Pease, Noah Mason, Erin Doherty, Jo Hartley, Mark Stanley and Claudius Peters also star.

Adolescence Release Dates: March 12th, 2025 (UK & US)…

YOU ME AND HIM (2017): The Thing I Liked…

You, Me & Him (2017), Lucy Punch, David Tennant
You, Me & Him (2017), Lucy Punch, David Tennant

You, Me and Him is just what I thought it would be, an adequately charming British comedy that put a smile on my face on a day when I didn’t want my movie choice to ask too much of me.

Starring Lucy Punch, Faye Marsay and David Tennant, the story centres around a lesbian couple who both end up making rather bad choices because they’re not exactly in the same place regarding the question of having children. Things get even more complicated when their Scottish neighbour befriends them.

Though the film was awkward at first, I enjoyed the unique story and general Britishness of director Daisy Aitkens’s film. There’s also Tennant’s beard, a.k.a., the other thing that drew me to this movie, I’m glad to say it did not disappoint.

Overall, I wouldn’t call You Me and Him the best British comedy I’ve seen in a while. I found Finding Your Feet (2017) to be that little bit more charming. Nevertheless, that doesn’t mean I won’t remember You Me and Him for enlightening me to the truth of just how good pink hair looks with grey eyes.

Watch it for the easy viewing experience and British charm.

YOU, ME & HIM (2018): New Trailer From Faye Marsay, David Tennant, Lucy Punch…

You, Me & Him (2018), Fay Marsay, Lucy Punch
You, Me & Him (2018), Fay Marsay, Lucy Punch

In You, Me and Him, Lucy Punch and Faye Marsay play a lesbian couple who both start making some truly disastrous decisions when the question of pregnancy rears its head, and their neighbour, played by David Tennant, befriends them.

This one is for the day when I want a film that will make me laugh a little but not demand too much commitment from me. There’s also the British charm, relatively unique story and Tennant’s beard to get excited about.

You Me & Him Release Dates: April 12th, 2018 (UK)…
