I Play Rocky is director Peter Farrelly’s latest drama/biography starring Anthony Ippolito as Sylvester Stallone. It’s the story of how a then-struggling actor wrote the ultimate underdog story, and his fight to play the lead, Rocky Balboa.

Matt Dillon, Toby Kebbell and Anna, Sophia Robb are among the key cast.

This is for everyone who will never get enough of the Rocky Balboa story. In fairness, this is technically the Sylvester Stallone story. But perhaps they’re one and the same.

Apparently, Stallone’s involvement in this film only goes as far as a Zoom call with Ippolito.

We can probably expect a well-executed and universal underdog story. Will you be watching?
