Jennifer Garner is the star of Peppermint, a new revenge action/thriller about a young mother on a mission to take from her rivals the life they stole from her.

Directed by Pierre Morel of Taken (2008), additional key cast includes Richard Cabral, John Ortiz and Method Man.

Having been aware of Garner playing many ‘traditional wife’ roles in recent years, I’m certainly very ready to see her return to her action woman roots. I actually never watched Garner in Alias 2001-2006, but I know that the show was a big hit and she was a total action badass.

I’m also just curious to see how this movie will compare to Taken since both films share a director.
