The new trailer for director Patty Jenkins’s Wonder Woman 1984 is here.
This time we get to meet the two new villains Diana Prince, a.k.a. Wonder Woman has to face; Pedro Pascal’s Max Lord and Kristen Wigg as The Cheetah.
I’m very excited to see Gadot in action one more time. She really does shine during the combat action sequences.
As for Wiig’s The Cheetah character, so far I’ve tried and failed at not thinking of Cats (2019) when I saw her in full The Cheetah costume. There’s a chance I’ll completely forget about Cats when I get into the the movie of corse. Let’s hope.
Kristen Wiig, Connie Nielsen, Spencer Trinwith, Jamal Alkhaldi, Chris Silcox, Rick Kelvin Branch, Justin Sisk and Thomas Clay Strickland also star.

The Movie My Life 
I loved the trailer. I am excited to see how they’ll use Chris pine in the storyline.
Yes, the Chris Pine inclusion should be interesting. I think the first trailer released during Comic Con at the time remains my favourite of the two but this new one is also good.
I think I squealed like a little girl when I saw the trailer on DCFanDome. I grew up with Wonder Woman and loved the first movie with Gal. This one looks promising too. I know what you mean about Kristin Wiig’s Cheetah. It does remind me of cats too lol. I liked Cheetah in the comics and she sort of looks like that, but of course it’s hard sometimes to go from what looks in the comics to on screen. I was a bit skeptical when I first heard Wiig was playing Cheetah, not that I don’t have anything against Wiig, but I wasn’t sure if she could pull it off. But after seeing the trailer, I think she will do well. I can not wait to see it. Covid or no Covid, this is one I will be definitely be going to see on the big screen.
So glad you love it. Both this trailer and the trailer for the first movie are good. Though it was the first trailer that had me squealing and full of joy.
What ever happens with everything else in this movie, I’m almost certain watching Gadot kicking ass will be my favourite part about it. Esp. as long as the combat scenes are equally good if not better than the ones in the first movie.

I know that it wouldn’t fly with comic book fans but I was watching the trailer thinking it looked like Wiig was selling the alpha predator thing without the CGI so maybe Cheetah could have just stayed a metaphor? 🙂 All in all she didn’t look too bad yet I’m betting she doesn’t actually change until the final throw down though!
I’m not overly familiar with The Cheetah but I think you’re right about when she’ll turn into full fledge Cheetah. I’m also intrigued about precisely how the world has wronged Wiig’s character. Lastly, I look forward to watching Wonder Woman kick her ass! 😁
