I for one know very little about the dune story and the 1984 film. Nevertheless, I’m especially curious because of the director and the brilliant cast.
Jason Momoa, Dave Bautista, Josh Brolin, Stellan Skarsgård, Javier Bardem, Charlotte Rampling, David Dastmalchian, Stephen McKinley Henderson, Chen Chang, Sharon Duncan-Brewster and Babs Olusanmokun also star.

Kind of reminds me of Star Wars.
Can’t really blame you. It’s science fiction, some of the scenes are in a desert and it’s an epic story from what I’ve heard. 🤓

I absolutely hated the 1984 Dune movie. It was boring and I found nothing I liked about it. I never read any of the books so not sure if those are any better, but this looks interesting. I’d give it a try and hope for the best for sure.

I look forward to seeing this one at the theater. I’ve read the books and saw the first movie. I really liked Sicario and BR 2049 so that’s in its favor.
I forgot for a moment that Dune shares a director with Sicario, a great movie! Also, both Dune and No Time to Die arrive in October, 2021. It’s going to be a special month! 🥳
