Directed by Tate Taylor; the story follows Sue Buttons (Allison Janney), an underappreciated suburban wife who finds herself particularly comfortable with being at the centre of a news story after her husband goes missing.
The cast is great and I’m excited about all the quirkiness and comedy. There’s also that very special hairstyle on Regina Hall’s police officer character’s head. A look that’s already amusing me, probably more than it should. That’s the magic of the mullet I guess.
Awkwafina, Juliette Lewis, Ellen Barkin, Samira Wiley, Jimmi Simpson, Wanda Sykes, Chris Lowell, Matthew Modine, Clifton Collins Jr., Bridget Everett, Marcella Lentz-Pope and Dominic Burgess also star.
