The latest animation/adventure/comedy from Pixar stars Mamoudou Athie and Leah Lewis as Ember and Wade.
Directed by PeterSohn of The Good Dinosaur (2015); Ember and Wade are two elements in a city where fire-, water, land and air live together.
Looking like a love story between fire and water, I’m hoping there’ll be a lot more to it to keep us all engaged. I mean, I already love the name Ember, so that’s certainly a good place to start.
What are your thoughts at this point? How intriguing do you find this story compared to some of your favourite Pixar films?
Elemental Release Dates: June 6th, 2023 (UK); June 16th, 2023 (US)…

Is it an official film day today? I wasn’t aware. 🤓 Either way, thanks! 🥳
…and happy film day to you!
Thank you My Friend. Stay Safe.
You too. 🤓
I love the trailer. Low-key, subtle. Had seen something about it earlier in the year and did make a note regarding the release date. It looks like a pretty cool world to land in for a couple of hours, and I am hopeful it will be another Pixar classic. Definitely planning on seeing it.
I think it looks a bit different from the usual Pixar releases. But no doubt it will have that usual heart-warming quality Pixar is known for. You’re right, the world of the film does look quite interesting, especially with all that happened as we followed Ember.
I love this! It seems completely new in Pixars works I know therefore I find it extremly intriguing! Incomparable! Thanks for sharing this G! 🙂
Glad you like it. 🤓 I agree that the difference to other Pixar films is part of what makes it even more interesting.
I love the animation, looks like a cool movie, and the music!♥
I hadn’t actually paid much attention to the good music until now. I blame the rich visual language. 🤓 I’m excited the see how this one turns out. I’m sure I’ll be impressed by some clever elements; no pun intended. 😊
But will the ‘Fifth Element’ make an appearance???😉🪐
😁 Only time will tell. But one can hope.
