BEETLEJUICE BEETLEJUICE (2024): New Trailer Starring Jenna Ortega, Michael Keaton, Justin Theroux, Winona Ryder, Willem Dafoe…

Starring Michael Keaton, Winona Ryder, Jenna Ortega, Justin Theroux and Willem Dafoe, the latest trailer for Tim Burton’s Beetlejuice Beetlejuice looks quite fun.

I wonder, what occurred to you as this trailer played?

For me, the order of thoughts that went through my head include… Astrid feels strongly like a Wednesday Addams adjacent character. The guy who says ‘Is your mom Lydia Deetz?’ actually looks like Miss Deetz. The special effects, the makeup, the look ‘n’ feel and the humour are why I’ll have to watch this one.

Lastly, isn’t the above image of Monica Bellucci just super?

Catherine O’Hara, Burn Gorman, Gianni Calchetti, James Fisher, Tim Kavanagh, Juliana Yazbeck, Filipe Cates, Travis Campbell, Leah Perkins and Christopher C. James also star.

Beetlejuice Beetlejuice Release Dates: September 6th, 2024 (US & UK)…

Happy Film Loving,

  1. I don’t remember the first movie well. I saw it once and that’s it. I love the director and the actors, but I must rewatch it to see if the humor gels with me. Hopefully, I can just slide right into this one, like I did with the Beverly Hills Cop trilogy before the 4th one.

      1. It was his first stop-motion animation film. Nightmare Before Xmas was directed by Selick, but Burton produced and wrote it.

  2. Gia, I’m going to skip the trailer because I don’t want any reveals ahead of time. I know I’m going to see it as the original was so iconic and Michael Keaton is back at the helm. I can see why having “Wednesday” in this one would be confusing.

      1. Oh my goodness, you need to get on that (watching the first movie) as I think you might miss some of the references in this one. You will get to see young Winona Ryder, Alex Baldwin, and Geena Davis also 🙂

    1. Excellent! Chances are you’ll have a great time with the sequel. I appreciate the magic of the 1988 film. Ultimately though, after watching it recently for the first time, I’ve realised that I’m not its perfect target market.

No doubt, I’ll find something to enjoy about the sequel, especially the humour and special effects. 🤞🤓🤞

      1. Definitely. 😀 I do like the original very much, but I think that it has a lot of explaining and scene setting to do, where the sequel didn’t need to do that. 😀 I hope you like it too.
