And Mrs is a story about Gemma (Aisling Bea), a reluctant bride-to-be’s seemingly ill-advised decision to marry her husband-to-be, even though he’s no longer alive.
Directed by Daniel Reisinger, And Mrs has some amusing moments/quips. However, I had to try hard not to reach for my phone at points because it’s not the most charming and engaging comedy of this kind.
I enjoyed a couple of scenes and how Gemma’s story is eventually wrapped up. What I unfortunately cannot say is that the overall experience felt worthwhile. A reality not helped by Billie Lourd’s often awkward and sadly annoying performance.
My favourite thing about And Mrs, which also stars Colin Hanks and Susan Wokoma is how it’s concluded and, the London, England setting. The latter is not exactly the best compliment a movie can get. Still, give it a chance if your curiosity is strong enough. You may have more fun than I did.

I saw the trailer for this and wondered how good it might be. I have to concur, a London setting is always a big plus, especially the beautiful parts.
Amen. Like any great city, the beautiful parts are dreamy, in real life. 😊
It’s good to know not to expect too much. The synopsis is interesting. I might give it a shot for the best bits.
I like this plan! 🤓🥂
Think I’ll sit this one out –
Very understandable. 🤓
Throwback to a memorable Colin Hanks cameo on Key&Peele
That’s the one, thank you! 😁 I enjoyed Key’s dialogue – very English indeed.
A buddy and I quote this sketch often.
It’s great when great sketches keep on giving.
Yes! I know exactly the one you’re talking! 😁
