Founded by Abraham George, The Shanti Bhavan School provides free education for some of India’s most impoverished and underrepresented children.

In writer/director Vanessa Roth’s documentary, Daughters of Destiny: The Journey of Shanti Bhavan, we learn more about the school that has changed the lives of so many for the better.

The difference the school has made in the lives of those with few to no other options is why I’ll be watching. I’m also looking forward to the particular way this story will remind me to remain grateful for all my relative abundance.
