Amazing Grace is a new documentary presenting previously unreleased concert footage of Aretha Franklin with a choir at the New Temple Missionary Baptist Church in Los Angeles in 1972.

Directed by Alan Elliott and Sydney Pollack; additional cast includes Reverand James Cleveland, C.L. Franklin, Clara Ward, Alexander Hamilton and Bernard Pretty Purdie.

I myself don’t actually listen to much gospel music but I am interested because of Franklin’s legacy.

I also want to know how the footage will be edited. Will we be watching the concert from start to finish or will the music be interspersed with Franklin’s story? I definitely have a personal preference.
