Beers Of Joy is a new documentary that features beer lovers ranging from an internationally acclaimed brewer, a celebrated chef plus two Advanced Cicerones. The latter two attempt to pass the prestigious Master Cicerone exam (beer’s equivalent to wine’s Master Sommelier), one of the most difficult tests in the world.

Written/directed by David Swift and Scott Owen, Beers Of Joy promises a love letter to beer and aims to prove once and for all that life is best celebrated over a beer.

I don’t drink beer or any other alcoholic beverage, for that matter. But I am curious about the story of beer and those who love it so.

Random and, oddly enough, before this very trailer, I’d never seen beer swirled around in a glass, then sniffed the way I know wine is, far more frequently.
