Supersonic is a new documentary that offers an in-depth look at the life and music of Oasis, one of England’s most successful rock bands.

The producing team behind the highly praised Amy Winehouse documentary, Amy (2015) are involved in the making of Supersonic – a fact that should only mean good things.

Featuring archive footage and commentary, Mat Whitecross directs, with Asif Kapadia (Amy Director) as one of the executive producers.

I’d guess that there’s commentary from both Liam and Noel Gallagher but I’m not sure where the brothers were in their famously difficult relationship during the making of this film. As such, we’ll just have to wait and see.
