In The Ritual, a group of college friends reunite for a trip to the forest, where they’re stalked by a dark, menacing presence.

Directed by David Bruckner; Rafe Spall, Robert James-Collier and Arsher Ali are among the key cast.

I need to know if the dead friend is haunting the one who survived. I also want to find out how everything went down in the convenience store.

This is clearly supposed to be a scary movie in the traditional sense. However, I wouldn’t mind seeing a non-horror version, where the focus is on the survivor, his late friend, the criminals and so on.
