In new comedy Dear Dictator, political turmoil forces a British-Caribbean dictator to flee his island nation and seek refuge with a rebellious teenage girl in suburban America. He in turn helps her to start a revolution and overthrow the “mean girls” in her high school.

Dear Dictator is written/directed by Lisa Addario and Joe Syracuse, while Michael Caine, Katie Holmes and Odeya Rush star.

I’m mostly curious because of Michael Caine. Nevertheless, something about this trailer tells me I may end up quitting before the end. The little hopeful part of me would love to be proved wrong, as always.

Jason Biggs and Seth green also star.
