The life and work of award winning independent Filmmaker Richard Linklater is the subject of the new documentary from Louis Black and Karen Bernstein.

Richard Linklater: Dream is Destiny promises the story of Linklater and his focus on independent film – including how and where it all began.

I love Linklater’s Before Midnight (2013) and the two films in the series that came before. 

Boyhood (2014) is also Impressive. However, I must admit that this trailer nearly put me to sleep. I’m going to blame the music because I actually really want to learn more about Linklater’s approach to filmmaking. I imagine and hope that the finished product will manage to keep me engaged and awake.
