Jake Gyllenhaal’s latest is directed by Jean-Marc Vallée, a director known for Dallas Buyers Club (2013) and Wild (2014). 

This new story focuses on the struggles of an investment banker after he loses his wife.

I saw the original trailer for Demolition a few months ago, but that particular version didn’t quite sell the film to me. I remember feeling similarly to how I felt as I watched the trailer for Bradley Cooper’s Burnt (2015.

Thanks to this new Demolition trailer edit, I’ll watch because it’s Gyllenhaal. I’m also interested in finding out what it is that will eventually Gyllenhaal’s character to finally feel.

Chris Cooper, Heather Lind, Naomi Watts and Polly Draper also star.
