Your Friends & Neighbors is a new Apple TV series starring Jon Hamm, Olivia Munn and Amanda Peet.

Created by Jonathan Tropper, Hamm plays Andrew Cooper, a hedge fund manager who resorts to unexpected means to maintain his family’s lifestyle.

I’m surprised this series isn’t partly categorised as comedy, based on the premise alone. I’m looking forward to all the moments of humour I hope are coming. I’m here for the drama, too, of course.

Side note, Hamm’s Cooper brings to mind Jason Isaacs’s character in The White Lotus, Season 3. I haven’t started watching it yet, so no spoilers, please.

I say, bring on the shenanigans of the ‘formerly rich’. I’m ready.

Hoon Lee, Isabel Gravitt, Lena Hall, Mark Tallman, Donovan Colan, Anna Osceola, Thomas Anthony Jones, Matthew Rauch, Jennifer Mudge, Rebecca Naomi Jones, Jordan Gelber, Manu Narayan, Dave Quay, Corbin Bernsen and Sandrine Holt also star.
