Central intelligence (2016), Kevin Hart, Dwayne Johnson
Trailer of the week just landed people!
Directed by Rawson Marshall Thurber of We’re The Millers (2013), Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart are the stars of what will hopefully be one of my favourite comedies of 2016.
I yelped because that car crash was badass. I laughed because ‘Fat Robbie’ was brilliantly unexpected, and I love because the trailer editing is on point. So… well done trailer maker!
Ride Along 2 (2016), Kevin Hart, Ice Cube, Olivia Munn
The trailer for the sequel to Ride Along (2014) is here. Watch it for at least two laugh out loud moments.
I enjoy Hart most in his standup comedy and I’ll be watching this because of the two great comedy moments in this trailer. I’m also hoping, like crazy, that there’s more good stuff where that came from.
Directed by Tim Story; Olivia Munn, Kevin Jeong and Benjamin Bratt also star.
Release Date (s): January 15th, 2016 (2016) January 22nd, 2016 (UK)…
The same people behind Despicable Me and the Minionswill bring us The secret Life of Pets in 2016.
Based on this delightful teaser trailer, I know I’ll love it. I already can’t wait to see more of all the pets, especially Chloe and Leonard.
The voice artists include Louis C.K., Eric Stonestreet, Albert Brooks, Ellie Kemper, Lake Bell, Kevin Hart, Hannibal Buress and Bobby Moynihan, to name just a few.
I learned today that two close friends of mine do not find Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg’s This Is The End (2013) funny. After getting over the initial shock and coming to terms with it, I made an effort to understand by running through the possible reasonable explanations:
They haven’t watched or enjoyed Pineapple Express (2008), Superbad (2007)Knocked Up (2007) or other great comedies by Rogen and Goldberg.
They must not have been in the right frame of mind to properly appreciate the movie’s greatness. I mean, I do believe that you have to be ‘in the mood‘ for certain films (comedy, drama, action, horror, etc.) to get the best out of them.
They were too tired to pay due attention.
Following my analysis, none of the above explanations were correct. I was therefore left with the only possible answer. Something is very wrong with both of my friends. As such, attempting to make further sense of the situation is a fool’s errand.
I wonder, what do you think? Did you find This Is The End funny or am I mistaken? I know deep down that I’m not, of course. But it’s generally nice to ask.
