Jupiter’s Legacy, the new series about a fresh generation of superheroes whose job it is to live up to their parents’ legacy and do their part in keeping the world safe, has a noteworthy new trailer. One that stars Josh Duhamel, Leslie Bibb, Andrew Horton and Ben Daniels.

On account of the trailer music, how Duhamel has been aged, plus his not fully natural-looking beard, this trailer is not quite what I expected. Still, that doesn’t mean I’m not supercurious about how this new superhero series will differ from the stories we’re used to.

To be the children of superheroes appears to have parallels to being born into royalty. Well, except for all the hard physical labour, fighting and danger.

Mike Wade, Tenika Davis, Meg Steedle, Elena Kampouris, Tyrone Benskin, Matt Lanter and Anna Akana also star.

In a drama that spans several decades; new action/adventure Jupiter’s Legacy is the story of a new generation of superheroes. One whose job it is to live up to their parents’ legacy and do their part in keeping the world safe.

Navigating the dynamics of family, power and loyalty, Jupiter’s legacy stars Josh Duhamel, Ben Daniels, Leslie Bibb and Andrew Horton

This teaser reveals a minimal amount. Nevertheless, I have a feeling I’m going to be happy with this series. Well, just as long as it isn’t as bad as the last movie I saw with ‘Jupiter’ in the title. I’m of course talking about Jupiter Ascending (2015). A surprise disappointment that starred Eddie Redmayne, Sean Bean, Channing Tatum and Mila Kunis.

Elena Kampouris, Matt Lanter, Mike Wade, Tenika Davis, Meg Steedle, Anna Akana and Tyrone Benskin also star.

Josh Duhamel, Leslie Bibb, Nora Dunn and Kevin Alejandro are the stars of The Lost Husband, the story of Libby (Bibb), a newly single mother trying to put her life back together after her husband dies.

Based on the best selling book by Katherine Center and directed by  Vicky Wight, Libby and her children move to her estranged Aunt’s goat farm in central Texas, and soon they meet James (Duhamel).

I want to see Libby overcome, get her life back in order make for a great farm girl. That way I can believe I too could learn to do it too… should the opportunity arise.

I’m also just in for a little romance during these ‘social distancing’ times.

Georgia King, Carly Pope, Herizen F. Guardiola, Nora Dunn, Isiah Whitlock Jr., Callie Hope Haverda, Ashlyn Rainn Holmes, Roxton Garcia, Grey Acuna, Stone Garcia and Marquel Skinner also star.

I’ll be watching because of Jermaine Clement, Sam Rockwell and Danny McBride. In case you were wondering, Clement’s does sound like Sacha Baron Cohen’s Borat…(2006).
