In Love Is Blind, Shannon Tarbet is Bess, a young girl who literally cannot see or hear her mother, even though she is not blind and her mother is very much alive and living with her under the same roof.

Directed by Monty Whitebloom and Andy Delaney; other key cast includes Aidan Turner, Chloë Sevigny, Matthew Broderick and Benjamin Walker.

I’m in for the kooky story and hopefully a sufficient medical explanation of Bess’s condition.

Manchester By The Sea (2016), Casey Affleck, Kyle Chandler

In Manchester By The Sea which stars Casey Affleck, Lucas Hedges, Kyle Chandler and Michelle Williams, an uncle (Affleck) is forced to take care of his nephew (Hedges) whose father just passed.

I’m interested because I’ll no doubt learn a thing or two about what to do or what not, in such predicaments. I also just want to see how uncle and nephew will end up helping each other grow. One last reason is that the wonderfully talented Michelle Williams is in a movie again, finally!

Directed by Kenneth Lonergan; Matthew Broderick, Tate Donovan and Gretchen Mol also star.
