Reynolds plays an ageing former movie star forced to face the reality that his glory days have come to an end.

I haven’t seen Reynolds in a film for a while, and most of the stories I hear about him in his later years are about how very physically able he still is. In which case, I’m thinking that he probably acted his socks off to look as fragile as he does in this trailer.

The story of ageing intrigues me too, of course, but I’m watching just to see how much I buy Reynolds’s physical portrayal of the man he’s playing. That’s a good reason. I sense you agree.
