Netflix’s latest crime/drama/mystery The Irregulars offers a twist on the classic Sherlock Holmes story. This time, the focus is on a group of misfits who investigate a series of supernatural crimes in Victorian London for Mr Holmes and Dr Watson.

Created by Tom Bidwell; some of the key cast includes Thaddea Graham, Darci Shaw and Jojo Macari.

Writer Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s Sherlock Holmes is quite the gift that keeps on giving, no? Not only has the great Holmes been portrayed by the likes Robert Downey Jr, Benedict Cumberbatch and more. But 2019 also delivered a movie about the detective’s teenage sister, Enola Holmes. And now this.

I anticipate fun ahead with this one. Especially if, like myself, you’re quite partial to a good mystery.
