New comedy/fantasy/horror film Sketch has Tony Hale (Veep (2012-2019) as a single dad navigating unchartered territory when his daughter’s comically dark drawings start coming to life.
Additional key cast includes D’Arcy Carden, Bianca Belle, Kue Lawrence and Kalon Cox.
The humour and special effects have me interested. Also, I imagine it won’t be a nightmare-inducing-scary-type, let’s hope.
Lastly, I’m quite intrigued by the young girl’s drawings, especially since little me was far too preoccupied with drawing flowers and colouring trees to create art that featured blood, let alone monsters. Arguably, this is surprising for someone with an imagination as over-active as mine.
How curious are you about this story? Did something similar to blood-eaters make an appearance in your pre-pubescent drawing years? No judgement. Just curious.
Genesis Rose Brown, Jaxen Kenner, Allie McCulloch, Nadia Benavides, Dajanae Cole, Josh Inocalla, Tamiko Robinson Steele, Mitch Miller, Arielle Prepetit, Jesse Santoyo and Leigha Hancock also star.
Sketch Release Dates: August 6th 2025 (US)…
