Friday has arrived with a trailer I wasn’t aware was the thing missing from y week/life.

Starring Michael Fassbender, James McAvoy and Jennifer Lawrence, director Bryan Singer’s  X-Men: Apocalypse is the latest instalment of the X-Men franchise, and it looks good.

I like both trailers. For trailer one, specific footage and dialogue are especially great. What I’m less keen on is the continued use of the music first heard at 1:10, because, for me, once is quite enough.

My wish is that it all unfolds beautifully upon release.

I remember absolutely nothing about the original Mad Max films. I’m not even sure that I’ve ever properly watched one. However, after seeing the teaser trailer for the 2015 version (Mad Max, Fury Road), it looks to be a fantastic spectacle.

All that’s left for me to do is get in the mood for another apocalyptic tale. Somehow I think Tom Hardy, Charlize Theron and Nicholas Hoult will manage to convince me. After all, what’s more intriguing than portrayals of ‘mad’ by talented Actors? Yes, that’s right. Nothing.
