The Hunt, a movie that had its trailer campaign and release cancelled in 2019 following two mass shootings in the States now has a new trailer edit and release date.

The story about twelve strangers who are chosen and kidnapped for the specific purpose of being hunted is directed by Craig Zobel. And the key cast includes Betty Gilpin, Emma Roberts, Hilary Swank, Justin Hartley…

I found the original trailer for this movie pretty compelling. This new one isn’t bad but I much prefer the darker more mysterious angle that featured terrifying music. Nevertheless, I am looking forward to seeing Gilpin’s character do her absolute worst and delight her audience.

It was good to learn that this movie hasn’t been changed at all following all the controversy. Only the marketing’s changed. so fingers crossed it ends up being worth the delay.

Steve Coulter, Wayne Duvall, Amy Madigan, Macon Blair, Teri Wyble, Alexander Babara, Sturgill Simpson, Ike Barinholtz and Glenn Howerton also star.

Starring Betty Gilpin, Emma Roberts, Hilary Swank and Justin Hartley, the latest trailer for The Hunt, the story of twelve strangers chosen and kidnapped for the specific purpose of being hunted is here…

This intriguingly dark concept has me impatient to see the finished product. I mean, I don’t think that I’ve ever seen Swank look quite as terrifying as she does in the clip from which the above image was captured.

I say ‘bring on the entertaining madness’ because I think I’m ready. I think.

Amy Madigan, Macon Blair, Teri Wyble, Ike Barinholtz, Glenn Howerton, Alexander Babara, Steve Coulter, Wayne Duvall and Sturgill Simpson also star.

Hilary swank, Emma Roberts and Justin Hartley’s new Craig Zobel directed movie, The Hunt is the story of twelve strangers. Strangers who wake up in a clearing but have no idea where they are or how they got there. The strangers certainly haven’t a clue that they’ve been chosen. Chosen for a specific purpose…

This looks to me like a case of paintball and deer, bison or other game just not cutting it anymore for hunting fans.

I’m looking forward to what the next trailer will reveal. We can probably expect quite a bit of horror.
