Starring Jennifer Ehle, Morfydd Clark and Lily Frazer, Saint Maud is a new horror movie about a pious nurse who becomes increasingly obsessed with saving the soul of her dying patient.

Written/directed by Rose Glass; additional key cast includes Faith Edwards, Turlough Convery, Linda E Greenwood, Lily Knight, Noa Bodner and Marcus Hutton.

‘All the good girls go to hell‘

A great lyric and one that seems so very fitting for this trailer.

This is also a religious horror film, the kind that’s most likely to rob me of sleep and give me nightmares. We’ll see how far I get, because I am rather interested in Ehle and Clark’s performances.

Lastly, is it just me, or, based on this trailer, does it feel as though this film is bordering on comedy, rather than straight horror?
