The trailer for Emerald Fennell’s film version of Emily Brontë’s classic novel, Wuthering Heights, has landed, and it looks good.

The intense romance/drama stars Margot Robbie, Shazad Latif and Jacob Elordi.

Unlike my lukewarm reaction to the teaser trailer a couple of months ago, this looks great! I’m officially interested. Especially as watching this trailer reminded me a little more of Catherine and Heathcliff’s story. It truly is an epic one, as far as romances go.

Just as well, this will be released around Valentine’s Day 2026, in time for all the lovers.

Are you also convinced that this is officially rather promising? I’m certainly ready for more of the gorgeous red all over this trailer.

Hong Chau, Ewan Mitchell, Owen Cooper, Alison Oliver, Martin Clunes and Vy Nguyen also star.

WUTHERING HEIGHTS (2026): New Trailer Starring Margot Robbie, Jacob Elordi, Shazad Latif…

Saltburn (2023) director Emerald Fennell’s latest is a romance/drama starring Jacob Elordi, Margot Robbie and Shazad Latif.

Based on Emily Brontë’s classic novel of the same name, Wuthering Heights follows the intense and destructive love story between Heathcliff and Catherine Earnshaw.

I don’t yet know how interested I am in this version of Brontë’s classic love story, but I am a Robbie fan, and I’m also curious about Fennell’s new project. Especially since I didn’t hate Saltburn.

What do you think?

Shazad Latif and Valene Kane are the stars of new mystery/thriller Profile; the story of an undercover British journalist who infiltrates the online propaganda channels of the so-called Islamic State, only to find herself sucked in by her recruiter.

Directed by Timur Bekmambetov; Christine Adams, Morgan Watkins, Emma Cater and Hollie Burgess make up more of the key cast.

This one is such a compelling premise that I don’t want to think too much about how it’s going to unfold. I simply want to watch it all happen, and hopefully be impressed by the overall execution.

Fingers crossed!

Marie Hamilton, Irina Klimovich, Kelley Mack, Louis Martin, Eloise Thomas, Kate Watson and Therica Wilson-Read also star.

FALLING FOR FIGARO (2020): New Trailer From Joanna Lumley, Hugh Skinner, Danielle Macdonald, Shazad Latif…

Falling for Figaro (2020), Danielle MacDonald
Falling for Figaro (2020), Danielle MacDonald

From director and co-writer Ben Lewin; Falling for Figaro is a new comedy/romance starring Joanna Lumley, Danielle Macdonald, Shazad Latif and Hugh Skinner.

Set in the Scottish Highlands; Macdonald plays a brilliant young fund manager who leaves her unfulfilling job and long-term boyfriend to chase her lifelong dream of becoming an opera singer.

Meryl Streep’s Florence Foster Jenkins (2016) definitely came to mind as this trailer played. Though, it does look like MacDonald’s character can at the very least hold a tune; unlike the absolutely tone deaf Miss Jenkins.

As a fan of this cast, I can’t wait for all the delightful humour to unfold.

Cameron Brown, Saskia Ashdown, Rebecca Benson, Bhav Joshi, Mark Weinman, Margaret Fraser, Jo Vanessa Borrini and Christina Bennington also star.
