From Star Wars director J.J. Abrams, The End of Oak Street is a new sci-fi/mystery/adventure starring Anne Hathaway, Christian Convery, Ewan McGregor and Maisy Stella.

The story follows a family of four as they navigate their new surroundings after a cosmic event transports their suburban neighbourhood to someplace unknown.

A thing of nightmares? My nightmares? Yes. Specifically, the nightmare in which I learn that humans suddenly have to share planet Earth with dinosaurs. And not dinosaur descendants, the birds, but actual dinosaurs.

It hasn’t been confirmed that that’s the nature of what’s happened in this trailer, but it sure does look like it. I’m also getting A Quiet Place (2018) vibes, which I’m not mad about.

Since this is a sci-fi/mystery/thriller/adventure and not a horror film, I should be able to watch it.
