THE END OF OAK STREET (2026): New Trailer Starring Anne Hathaway, Ewan McGregor, Maisy Stella, Christian Convery…

Produced by Star Wars director J.J. Abrams, and directed by David Robert Mitchell, The End of Oak Street is a new sci-fi/mystery/adventure starring Anne Hathaway, Christian Convery, Ewan McGregor and Maisy Stella.

The story follows a family of four as they navigate their new surroundings after a cosmic event transports their suburban neighbourhood to someplace unknown.

A thing of nightmares? My nightmares? Yes. Specifically, the nightmare in which I learn that humans suddenly have to share planet Earth with dinosaurs. And not dinosaur descendants, the birds, but actual dinosaurs.

It hasn’t been confirmed that that’s the nature of what’s happened in this trailer, but it sure does look like it. I’m also getting A Quiet Place (2018) vibes, which I’m not mad about.

Since this is a sci-fi/mystery/thriller/adventure and not a horror film, I should be able to watch it.

Maisy Stella, Chris Coy, P.J. Byrne, Bethany Anne Lind, Bethany Anne Lind, Emily Kuroda, Andrea Frankle, Hudson Meek, Pilot Bunch, Denitra Isler, Jordan Alexa Davis and Savanna Renee also star.

The End of Oak Street Release Dates: August 14th, 2026, (US & UK)…

Happy Film Loving,

  1. Director, David Robert Mitchell (It Follows) is tops on my (highly subjective) list of filmmaker prospects… Besides that I’m a sucker for any sci-fi horror film with a family in a station wagon… And dinosaurs!🚖🦖

  2. It Follows is my favorite horror movie which is directed by David Robert Mitchell. I’ve been following his career closely, so I’m very much looking forward to The End of Oak Street. Anything with dinosaurs in it will earn my attention.

    1. Thank you for highlighting the correct director. ☺️😁 I saw Abrams’s name in the trailer and got carried away. Naturally, I haven’t seen It Follows.

Even though I have zero personal David Robert Mitchell references, I, too, am excited to see how this story will be concluded.

  3. This trailer along with the director somehow went passed me. It looks like the street gets transported in time to the middle of the forrest during dino era. Should be fun. And I love the two leads.
