Written, directed by and starring Rupert Everett, The Happy Prince is the untold story of the last days in the tragic times of celebrated Irish poet and playwright Oscar Wilde.

Colin Firth, Colin Morgan, Emily Watson and Tom Wilkinson co-star.

Mr Wilde has far too many wise and amusing quotes for me not to make time for this movie. Especially in hopes that I can hear as many of them as possible.

One of my absolute favourites… ‘Children begin by loving their parents; after a time, they judge them; rarely, if ever, do they forgive them.‘
