Following my disappointment with episodes one and two of Marvel’s WandaVision, I decided to wait for the release of episode four before diving back in to see how much more engaging it gets.
Even though episode three was not great, for me, until the last few minutes, I’m glad to report that the fourth episode is much better and more reflective of what I’d hoped for with one and two.
The cast is fantastic; from Teyonah Parris, to Paul Bettany, Katheryn Hahn, Kat Dennings and of course, Elizabeth Olsen; who emits pain through her eyes so very well.
Am I still mad that the first two episodes and most of the third felt like a waste of my time? Only a little; especially since, unlike myself, many readers of the comic books like them.
My hope now is that with the episodes yet to come, things can only get better.

I too wasn’t crazy about episode 3 except for the last half. Although I enjoyed episode 1 and 2, 4 was my favorite. I’m so curious now to see how this is going to go with Wanda near the end. I am excited to see how this will tie in with the next 2 series events. I was happy to see Darcy from Thor (Jane’s friend) and Jimmy Woo from Ant-man and The Wasp in episode 4. I can’t wait to see who else might show up in the episodes to come.
I’m glad we agree on episode four as the best one so far. Surely things can only get better from here onwards. 🤞🤞
No doubt we’ll learn some things by the end. However, something tells me there’ll be a cliffhanger to make us even more impatient for what happens after the end. Only 5 more episodes to go! 🤓
Oh I’m sure they will leave us hanging lol. But can’t wait.
We do suffer for our love of art, don’t we? How so willingly we do suffer. *Sigh… 😁
Parris is really making me hopeful for Captain Marvel 2 (I thought the first was pretty average) I wonder what the story there will be and when she’ll get her powers.
I haven’t met or heard of anyone who completely loved Captain Marvel. Fingers crossed that things can only improve with the sequel. Before this role, I remember Parris most clearly in If Beale Street Could Talk (2018). She’s great.
*slowly raises hand* I liked Captain Marvel. I am looking for to Captain Marvel 2 as well. I think it’s supposed to come out next year, but with everything always getting pushed back who knows.
Put your hand back down, Christy! 😂
Only kidding of course! Captain Marvel wasn’t a bad movie but it just didn’t turn out to be as exciting or satisfying an experience as I’d hoped. I think the next year release date should be fine. Especially since it’s November next year. Also, Brie Larson has a YouTube channel and she may have mentioned something about starting training again.
*puts hand down* 😁 Yes, I’ve seen her YouTube channel a few times. I probably need to catch up. I think CM 2 will probably be even better since she has kind of hit her stride so to speak…. fingers crossed.
Onwards and upwards, as they say. 🤓
