Read my spoiler-free movie review of  Black Panther – Wakander Forever (2022).

Lupita Nyong’o, Angela Bassett, Danai Gurira, Letitia Wright and Martin Freeman are back for director Ryan Coogler’s long awaited second Black Panther movie, Black Panther – Wakanda Forever.

Due to nervousness about sadness that could have resurfaced because of Chadwick Boseman’s absence from a cast he led so very well, I paused before hitting play on this promising trailer.

However, luckily for me and likely anyone who appreciated what Boseman did as Black Panther, I find myself comforted by the very well-chosen trailer song.

Now I can’t wait to see this movie, and the tribute it will undoubtedly be to the man who portrayed T’Challa to perfection.

Additional cast includes Tenoch Huerta, Dominique Thorne, Winston Duke, Michaela Coel, Aleks Alifirenko Jr., Shalet Monique, Isaach De Bankolé and Gigi Bermingham.

Black Panther – Wakanda Forever Release Dates: 11th November 2022 (UK & US)…

Happy Film Loving

  1. This looks fantastic! I admit I teared up. Also I was really worried about how Atlantis was going to look especially in light of all the CGI iffiness they’ve been having recently but it looks amazing. November 11th cannot come fast enough!

    1. Luckily, from what this trailer has shown so far, Atlantis will be beautiful. 🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞

Overall, it looks as though November is going to be a month of collective mourning/tribute. And yes, there will likely be very few dry eyes in the auditorium.

  2. I have been rather disappointed w/ Phase 4 of MCU but man I am stoked for this!! The trailer actually made me tear up. Glad they didn’t recast Chadwick as T’Challa though I undoubtedly miss him a lot.

  3. Even with the loss of Chadwick, this is still an important film that I feel will demand to be seen like the first one. I was reading Black Panther comics as a child and was overjoyed by the first film’s ability to convey him properly, but more importantly, serve as a harbinger of social change as Stan Lee and Jack Kirby envisioned him back in the 1960s. It seems like the proper deference has been given and I hope Shuri takes the mantle like the comics did.

    1. As someone who doesn’t read comic books, I’m always happy when the films truly hit the mark for the comic book fans. I too am hoping for the very best with this sequel. It doesn’t feel like they rushed it, so my fingers are firmly crossed. 🤞🤞
