The time for the second trailer for A Quiet Place – Day One has arrived.

Directed by Michael Sarnoski; the key cast includes Lupita Nyong’o, Joseph Quinn, Djimon Hounsou and Alex Wolffe.

‘It’s the end of days. No more people. No more New York. No more nothing.‘

Before the above words were said, I was perfectly calm and emotionally balanced while watching this trailer. Now, I’m… I’m okay, thanks to some focused deep breaths.

The story, performances and special effects have my attention. I’m also unexpectedly curious to see how the authorities will be deployed to react strategically; besides simply telling people to shelter in place.

Lastly, will the cat make it out alive? Now, that is the question.

Jennifer Woodward, Mark Khan, Zay Domo Artist, Alexander John, Elijah Ungvary, Jonathan Sparrow and Cain Aiden also star.

A Quiet Place – Day One Release Dates: June 28th, 2024 (US & UK)…

A Quiet Place – Day One follows writer/director John Krasinski’s drama/horror/sci-fi hits, A Quiet Place (2018) and A Quiet Place Part 2 (2020).

Co-written by Krasinski and directed, this time by Michael Sarnoski; we finally get to learn about what happened the day the world went quiet.

I love that I had absolutely no idea this film was on the way, let alone that it would star an actor as magnetic as Nyong’o.

I may end up terrified, but I’m ready for the action, story, visual effects, and hopefully answers to questions many A Quiet Place fans have had since the first movie.

Also, it’s still only month two, but 2024 is looking good for the volume of movies I’m excited about this year. Will you be watching to see if Nyong’o’s character makes it through?

BLACK PANTHER – WAKANDA FOREVER (2022): New Official Trailer From Letitia Wright, Lupita Nyong’o, Angela Bassett, Danai Gurira, Martin Freeman…

Read my spoiler-free movie review of  Black Panther – Wakander Forever (2022).

If you thought that the teaser trailer for Black Panther – Wakanda Forever was moving, prepare yourself for the official trailer from director Ryan Coogler; starring Angela Bassett, Danai Gurira, Letitia Wright, Martin Freeman and Lupita Nyong’o,

Thanks to the stunning visuals, very promising battle sequences and absolutely perfect music, I have played this trailer countless times since its release.

I must also admit that each time I’ve played it, I was unable to resist beating my chest as per what happens at 1:40 seconds into the trailer. There will be very few, if any, dry eyes in the cinema when this comes out. Lastly, how special is the musical core/soundtrack going to be?

I’m guessing the answer is Letita Wright, the question is, who’s performance are you most excited to see? I’m certainly excited to see Wright deliver. However, I can’t wait to see queen Bassett; an actor I’ve adored ever since Whats Love Got to do With it 1993 and Waiting to Exhale (1995).

Winston Duke, Aleks Alifirenko Jr., Shalet Monique, Michaela Coel, Isaach De Bankolé and Tenoch Huerta, Dominique Thorne, and Gigi Bermingham also star.

Lupita Nyong’o, Angela Bassett, Danai Gurira, Letitia Wright and Martin Freeman are back for director Ryan Coogler’s long awaited second Black Panther movie, Black Panther – Wakanda Forever.

Due to nervousness about sadness that could have resurfaced because of Chadwick Boseman’s absence from a cast he led so very well, I paused before hitting play on this promising trailer.

However, luckily for me and likely anyone who appreciated what Boseman did as Black Panther, I find myself comforted by the very well-chosen trailer song.

Now I can’t wait to see this movie, and the tribute it will undoubtedly be to the man who portrayed T’Challa, arguably, to perfection.

Additional cast includes Tenoch Huerta, Dominique Thorne, Winston Duke, Michaela Coel, Aleks Alifirenko Jr., Shalet Monique, Isaach De Bankolé and Gigi Bermingham.

Jessica Chastain, Sebastian Stan, Lupita Nyong’o, Penélope Cruz and Diane Kruger are the stars of new Simon Kinberg-directed thriller, The 355.

A spy movie about five women working together to stop a global organisation from acquiring a weapon that could thrust the world into total chaos.

First of all, is it just me or does Lupita’s outfit in the above photo suggest Harry Potter?

Secondly, what a lovely mix of talent. I’m excited to see what the group chemistry is like, and I’m hoping to enjoy this more than I did Chastain’s last movie, Ava (2020).

Edgar Ramírez, Bingbing Fan, Jason Wong, Leo Staar, Raphael Acloque, Hiten Patel, Wong Charlie, Evie Wray, Toby Sauerback and Francisco Labbe also star.

The 355 Release Dates: January 14th, 2022 (US & UK)…
