I last saw the ‘brain scan switch‘ plot device in The Last Holiday (2006), a rather cheerful Christmas movie starring Queen Latifah and LL Cool J.
The real reason I’m drawn to this movie is the motorbike kick at 1:52 seconds into the trailer. Now I have to see what else is on offer fun action-wise. Also, knowing Boutella’s physical capabilities, I’m guessing she’s not just there to play the clueless girlfriend.
This one’s clearly ‘John Wick-flavoured,’ which I’m sure, is a good thing for many of us.

I’m waiting somewhat impatiently for the next Extraction movie with Chris Hemsworth. I’ll always be curious about the sequels because I enjoyed the first one so much.

First time seeing the trailer here. Could be a sleeper hit. Looks like a nice action pic. I’m a big fan of Bautista. Nice to see him get another star vehicle here.
