For those who have been praying for a modern-day contemporary retelling of Greek Mythology, creator Charlie Covell has something coming soon on Netflix that intends to do exactly that.
It’s called Kaos and stars Jeff Goldblum, David Thewlis, Aurora Perrineau and Janet McTeer.
I don’t remember too much about Greek Mythology from the little I learned while at school. However, knowing how inspiring it has been and continues to be for many writers, I’m excited to see a modern version of the stories. That and getting to see dramatised early examples of the well-known saying: ‘absolute power corrupts absolutely.’ i think it’ll be fun to see that play out, especially where Goldblum’s character is concerned.
I can’t help but wonder how this series might be received if it were about ‘the one and only God ‘ rather than the Greek gods. Perhaps one will just have to imagine.

Amen to that. I know a few excited people. I’m looking forward to the humour and exploration of the themes.
Ooh looks good. Nice to see Goldblum starring in a series. The trailer looks like an excellent support cast with him. Will def be watching this one.
On another netflix series, have you seen Kleo? I just finished S2 and consider it to be brilliant.

As for Kleo, I haven’t seen it, but I just watched the trailer and it looks like a good vengeance story. I am quite partial to those. Thanks for the recommendation. 🤓🥂
