Written and directed by Aaron Schimberg, the story follows Edward (Sebastian Stan), a man who is fixated on an actor cast in a play about Edward’s former life – before he underwent facial reconstructive surgery.
Renate Reinsve and Adam Pearson also star in this promising new comedy/horror/thriller, A Different Man.
What an interesting premise; having been so unhappy with one’s appearance that drastic action is taken to change it. Only everything doesn’t quite go as planned – and in the most unexpected way.
I’m excited about the comedy, how it will all be resolved, plus, Stan and Pearson’s performances.

The Movie My Life 
I watched this trailer a few times before realising what was really going on. It’s an unexpected and potentially great film.
I also had to do that because I habitually watch trailers before reading the synopsis. I may have watched it 3/4 times before it all sunk in. 😁
I remember reading about this a while back and I almost forgot about it until now. The amazing part about it is when you see it, you think to yourself “Surely this is a prosthetic mask/makeup”, but then you google a bit and realize, nope that’s a real actor!

As for Adam Pearson. I believe I watched a UK documentary about him several years ago, so I knew it was his real face.
I hope the excitement I have for this movie at the trailer stage will translate into joy after watching it because it delivers on its promise. 🙏🙏

I’m going to wait until I see this before any more trailers or info. This is one I want to pretty much go in cold to watch. Let’s just say I’m intrigued by little learned so far.
