Mystery/thriller Blink Twice is a decent writing/directorial debut for Zoë Kravitz.
Starring Naomi Ackie, Channing Tatum, Adria Arjona and Alia Shawkat, it all begins when cocktail waitress Frida (Ackie) and her friend Jess (Shawkat) get invited to tech billionaire Slater King’s private island. Unbeknownst to the two friends, their time on the island will not be quite the carefree experience they’d hoped it would be.
The visual style of Blink Twice is the first thing I liked right away. Then came the performances and the fact that the story builds to some thrilling and unexpected twists and turns.
Yes, there was a moment or two when I wanted things to move slightly quicker, but soon after the halfway point, I was a very pleased audience member.
All the actors in Blink Twice performed well, including Tatum, whom we hadn’t seen in this type of dark role before. So, if you’re curious, watch it for these reasons, and how well that final third of the film is executed.

It’s not a perfect movie, you were right in saying that some moments were too slow, but in general the movie was vert good with a good directiong and some great actors.
