Karate Kid – Legends follows Li Fong (Ben Wang), a Kung Fu prodigy who’s forced to leave his Beijing home and move to New York City.
Directed by Jonathan Entwistle; Joshua Jackson, Jackie Chan, Ralph Macchio, Ming-Na Wen are among the key cast.
Nostalgia is the reason this appeals. That and the chance to watch bullies get silenced. Some impressive martial art, especially courtesy of young Wang, won’t hurt either.

Cosy is my vibe right now. I like the warm colours too.
Christmas is the season of cosy, after all. 🤓
Cobra Kai is easily one of the best shows on Netflix. So I’m very much looking forward to the movie.
I remember the surprise for some that the show turned out to be a hit. May it continue for as long as it’s still good. 🙏

I love the first two and watch briefly the Hillary Swank version, and tolerated the Jaden Smith version. I have never seen the Youtube version.
But, I assume, Hillary Swank and Jaden Smith turned down any offers for the Youtube and this year’s movie.
I’ve only really watched the original one. This one I’m interested in. I only vaguely recall Swank being involved in a version.
Fingers crossed that this new instalment is worthwhile. 🤓🤞🤞
