The second fun trailer for Zootopia 2 has arrived, and it’s still looking great.

Jason Bateman, Ginnifer Goodwin, Shakira and Quinta Brunson star, while Jared Bush and Byron Howard direct another story of a complicated case that needs solving.

Such a good second trailer. Great humour, and I absolutely agree with Nick Wilde about what Judy Hopps did with her ears. You do too, right?

The latest Disney Pixar film is Hoppers, an animation/adventure/comedy about an animal lover’s use of technology to uncover the secrets of the animal world.

Directed by Daniel Chong; Jon Hamm, Piper Curda and Bobby Moynihan star.

This is just my kind of cute. I already love the bear and hope we get plenty of time with her.

I say bring on the definitely ‘like Avatar (2009)‘ shenanigans, and, also like The Secret Life of Pets (2016)/Animals‘ vibes.

Even though it’s being released three months later, it’s not unlikely that I’ll watch this before the upcoming Avatar: Fire and Ash (2026) film. Especially because it’s guaranteed to have a much shorter running time.

Will you also be hopping along to the movie theatre or film room to see this one?

Mischief and Mayhem is the order of the day with The Cat in the Hat, the new animated/comedy/adventure starring Giancarlo Esposito, Bill Hader and Matt Berry.

The Cat in the Hat is one of those children’s books/stories that I know very little about, except the look of the hat said cat chooses to wear. However, I am very ready to let this movie be my education.

In addition to learning more about why the stories are so popular, I’m very curious about the various switches in animation style in this trailer. Did you notice that too?

I’m happy I had fun watching Mufasa – The Lion King. Putting aside the fact that I soon found Pumba and Timone quite annoying, compared to The Lion King 2019, this time, my experience didn’t abruptly end because of the thought, ‘This looks and feels strange. Best to watch a nature documentary instead.’ 

I had no such feelings or thoughts while I watched Mufasa – The Lion King; Aaron, Pierre, Donald Glover, Seth Rogen and Mads Mikkelsen’s Barry Jenkins-directed animated adventure.  Instead, I enjoyed the music, especially after the halfway point. 

Mikkelson was a memorable villain – no surprises there. Furthermore, all the character development felt un-rushed, the story engaging, and the emotional journeys and fight sequences satisfying. As such, today, to my rather pleasant surprise, I sing the praises of Mufasa – The Lion King. I sing them, I say! 

Watch it, if you haven’t already.

Jared Bush and Byron Howard are the directors of Zootopia 2, a sequel to the 2016 feel-good animated adventure/comedy about a rabbit cop and her fox friend. Both are on a mission to solve a complicated and even more perilous case.

Hello, super pleasant surprise! Especially since the first one was so fun and well-made.

I’m down for all the cuteness and great characters, including Idris Elba’s police chief, Chief Bogo. I sure hope Elba is still in it. As I wrote this, his name wasn’t published on the IMDb cast list.

Also, I like the music in this teaser. Great for getting your energy up. Try listening to it a few times without watching the trailer if you haven’t already.

Will you be rewatching Zootopia (2016) in preparation?
