I’ve been enjoying scary movie trailers recently. I’ve only made it to actually watching just a few so far but already I like some of the dialogue in Isabelle

Concerned husband: ‘Do you believe in possession?

Holy Man: ‘I’ve seen many things’.

Me: ‘Isn’t that just comforting?’ Really puts one completely at ease.

Dayo Ade, Booth Savage, Sheila McCarthy, Shanice Banton and David Tompa also star.

TABLE 19 (2017): New Trailer Starring Anna Kendrick, Craig Robinson, Lisa Kudrow…

Jeffrey Blitz is the director behind the new Anna Kendrick, Stephen Merchant, Craig Robinson and Lisa Kudrow comedy/ drama, Table 19.

Table 19 is that table at a wedding for the random people that the bride and groom aren’t particularly close to anymore, but feel obligated to invite…

I already like the vibe of this trailer, thanks to the edit and music. Also, brothers Jay and Mark Duplass are the writers which  means that at the very least it’s going to be watchable.

Thomas Cocquerel, Tony Revolori, June Squib, Amanda Crew and Wyatt Russell also make an appearance.

Table 19 Release Dates: January 20th, 2017 (US & UK)…

THE AGE OF ADALINE (2015): For The Beautiful Romance

The Age Of Adaline (2015), Michiel Huisman, Blake Lively
The Age Of Adaline (2015), Michiel Huisman, Blake Lively

Blake Lively is the star of the Lee Toland Krieger directed fantasy / romance, The Age Of Adaline, a movie about a woman rendered ageless following an accident.

Also starring Michael Huisman, Ellen Burstyn and Harrison Ford, Krieger’s film deals with the bittersweet realities that arise as a result of Adaline’s unique situation and with particular reference to her romantic life.

I did enjoy the movie, especially the romance even though there was a point towards the end when one of Adalines decisions just felt incredibly rash/ hasty…

I’ve given it a bit of thought and think that if I were afforded the option, I’d probably choose to  have the ageing process slowed down quite a bit rather than stopped completely. That way everyone can hopefully just put it down to good genes.

Did anyone else notice the resemblence between the rather handsome Michiel Huisman and Shia LeBeouf? Not to say that they’re twins of course.

RACE (2016): New Trailer For The Story Of American Track & Field Athlete, Jesse Owens

Race (2016), Stephan James
Race (2016), Stephan James

The trailer is here for the new film about Jesse Owens, the American athlete who achieved greatness against massive odds…

It’s a shame that upon returning to America after winning 4 gold medals at the Berlin Olympics, Owens wasn’t treated as well as you might expect for an American hero.

During that time, as bad as things were in Nazi Germany, they weren’t great for people of colour in the United States either. Nevertheless, Race, the story of Jesse Owens is still a powerful one, especially for all oppressed people with big dreams.

Directed by Stephen Hopkins; Stephan James stars as Owens with Jason Sudeikis, William Hurt and Jeremy Irons in the key supporting roles.

Release Date (s): February 19th 2016 (US), May 5th 2016 (Germany)…
